  1. Very sad news
We all remember Ronnie from our early days as fledgling inter association bowlers and then as internationals
He was a great supporter of young bowlers and we all enjoyed his bowling reports in the Belfast Teldgraph Saturday night
He did a lot to promote our game and will be missed by all

  2. Something that many might not remember, as I understand, Ronnie was responsible for the setting up of PG midweek league, he maybe had some help but being a busy man on a Saturday, all day, the outlet for himself, was surely MW bowls. Pat HAYES at PICKIE BC
